A Message from John Howell MP.

‘I am sorry not to be able to be with you today due to the reorganisation of the date of the event. However, I am happy to record my support for the project. I have already described the project as visionary and one which reaches out across the generations. The death of a young person is a sad occasion and many will have their own deep and poignant memories of an individual sadly lost to us. This memorial pays tribute to them all. It is an excellent reminder of the contribution made by young people to our civic life and the important role they play in our community. I salute all those who have worked so tirelessly to make this memorial happen and I hope it will shine like the true beacon it is on behalf of the young people of the town.’
