Chloe Charlotte Owens

The youngest of three sisters, Chloe was an outgoing, warm hearted, child with a great sense of humour and a natural confidence.

Chloe attended St Mary’s School in Haddenham from 1996, following her sisters to Lord Williams’s School on 2002. She loved school and made many wonderful friends with whom she socialised in Thame and the surrounding villages, and she was a regular visitor to the Skate Park in Thame where her friends wrote her name on the half pipe and her family have provided a memorial bench.

Chloe was hit by a car whilst crossing the by-pass near the Aylesbury roundabout, and died from her injuries in hospital later the same evening. Her friends are still regular visitors to her grave, and have lovingly maintained her roadside memorial for the last four years. There is also a beautiful circular bench, with her name in bright pink letters, at Lord Williams’s Upper School, which was designed and funded by her friends.

Chloe was a special child who made a tremendous impact in her short life. She is missed every day by her friends and family, who feel so fortunate to have had her in their lives.
